We’ve all seen comedy on the internet. But today we’re getting a dose of comedy about the internet. The Onion's “Extremely Accurate History of the Internet,” is a new satirical documentary on Yahoo! Screen’s Comedy Channel that will reveal the past of this vast and glorious data network. The show launches today on Yahoo! Screen, and adds to the current lineup of original comedy shows.

Additionally, the Yahoo! Screen Comedy Channel is renewing four of our funniest shows including, "Odd News," "Sketchy," "First Dates with Toby Harris," and "Burning Love" featuring Ken Marino, The new seasons will launch over the next several weeks.

Here’s what you can expect to see on Yahoo! Screen:

  • “The Onion’s Extremely Accurate History of the Internet” Production studio: The Onion and Yahoo! Studios. The Internet finally gets some well deserved attention. The Onion's Extremely Accurate History of the Internet will reveal the past of this vast and glorious data network, starting with the carved stone modems of our African ancestors, through the wifi enabled monks of Medieval Europe, to the porn-laden web of today.
  • Odd News (Continuing with new episodes) Production Studio: Yahoo! Studios. Host and comedian Greg Proops brings his signature wit to this daily wrap up of the strangest – yet – true stories from around the globe.
  • Sketchy (Continuing with new episodes) Production Studio: Electus / Principato-Young Entertainment. "Sketchy" is a weekly video series featuring stand-alone, topical comedy shorts written, directed, and starring some of the hottest names in comedy.
  • First Dates With Toby Harris (Debuting new episodes in January 2013) Production Studio: Funny or Die. Starring Seth Morris, created and directed by Elliot Dickerhoof, produced by Anna Wenger. Set in Los Angeles, each episode centers around a different date and issue that will leave the audience bickering about who was right and who was wrong, and how they might have handled it better. Love him or hate him, a date with Toby is a date you will always remember. “First Dates with Toby Harris” won best web series at the recent Palo Alto International Film Festival.
  • Burning Love Season 2 (Debuting new episodes in 2013) Production Studio: Paramount’s Insurge Pictures. The next installment of Burning Love, the critically acclaimed comedy series that spoofs reality dating shows, will be written by Erica Oyama (Childrens’ Hospital) and directed by Ken Marino and feature some returning cast including Ken Marino, June Diane Raphael and Natasha Leggero as well as new characters in their quest to find true love. Season 2 follows Julie (June Diane Raphael), who failed to capture Mark Orlando’s heart in Season 1 of Burning Love, as she searches for love in a group of guys who are all hopefully there for the right reasons.
